CLEOPATRA ISLAND

A half hour drive followed by 2-hour long boat trip during which you get two swimming breaks in turquoise waters of Gökova bay. After B.B.Q lunch served aboard the trip is crowned by a 3-hour long free time on the unique sands of Cleopatra beach. The sands of the island are legendary and are believed to have been imported by Mark Anthony as a gift to his love Cleopatra. Walk barefoot along the stretch of pale pink sand which squeaks with each step and know that this unique sand is to be found nowhere else in the world.

The Amphitheatre and fortifications are also well worth a visit if you can bear to tear yourself away from the breathtaking backdrop of mountains which frame the bright azure waters of the bay.
