A tax agreement between Turkey and the
U.K. has been ratified which prevents double taxation. Professional
advice of your lawyer and accountant is strongly recommended. At
time of purchase, the buyer and the seller pay a 3% tax on the
official purchase price in equal parts.
As the buyer, you also pay the equivalent of approx. USS 12 each in
education tax and documentation fees. |

Annual tax is 2/1000 of the declared
value to the municipality. Within 4 weeks of registration you also
have to register with the local municipality for annual taxation.
Failure in doing so results in a fine of approx. USS 10 |
